    Dear Crystal-Developers,

the D4 dispersion correction scheme seems to have been implemented in Crystal23, but I cannot not find it documented in the manual from 31. october 2023.

Could you please give me hint where to find information on the matter of D4?

    Thank you!
    Kind regards,
    Georg

      Hi Georg,

As far as I know, the D4 dispersion scheme is not yet implemented in the public version of CRYSTAL. It’s likely planned for a future release, but not currently available.

Where did you come across information that D4 has been implemented?

        Hi Giacomo,

        thank you for your answer.
You are right, D4 is mentioned in the JCTC article as "further developments to the code", which I misunderstood.
The article clearly mentions it as future development, not as list of further developments not laid out in detail in the article.

Thank you for your help in clarifying this.

        Kind regards,
        Georg
